COUNTRY ARTIST JAMIE O’NEAL SUPPORTS EVERGREEN

On July 12th, country artist Jamie O'Neal had lunch in Nashville with the winner of Evergreen's 2007 raffle.  Judy Dunaway from Geismar, Louisiana, won the grand prize of an all-expense paid weekend for two in Nashville, Tennessee, which included an exclusive lunch with Jamie O'Neal  Ms. Dunaway chose her sister, Pat, to accompany her on the trip.  They dined at the Cheesecake Factory, along with Evergreen's staff members, Jill Burda, Vice President of Development, Jovanna Emerson Director of Development and Tonya Woods-Copeland Regional Vice President.

While in Nashville, the ladies stayed at the Loews-Vanderbilt Hotel.  They were provided all meals throughout the weekend and also visited the Country Music Hall of Fame compliments of Evergreen.  Ms. Dunaway told staff after the Saturday lunch with Jamie O'Neal, "I have never felt this special before."

Ms. Dunaway has an adult child in Evergreen's program who lives in a community home in south Louisiana.

Jamie O'Neal has been in the country music scene for many years now, and she became well-known with her first number one song, No More Arizona.  Quickly following the first number-one single was the second, When I Think About Angels.  Other singles put out by O'Neal include Shiver, Atlantis and Somebody's Hero.  Jamie O'Neal lives with her husband, Rod, and their daughter, Aliyah, on the outskirts of Nashville. She considers her daughter her most important accomplishment.  Aliyah also joined the group for lunch on Saturday along with Jovanna's son, Asher.
