Lesa Hamilton is the new director of the North Central Louisiana Division of Evergreen Presbyterian Ministries.

Hamilton has been employed with Evergreen since 1989. She has served as a program specialist providing administrative support in all aspects of the operation. She was a program supervisor, independent living supervisor and community home manager.

She was previously a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army at Fort Sill, Okla. She received a meritorious service medal.

Hamilton has a B.S. degree in General Studies from LSUS.

Evergreen, a ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA), Synod of the Sun, is a not-for-profit, premier provider of services to nearly 800 people with disabilities in five states. Evergreen has 14 community homes in the Minden-Natchitoches area, offers vocational services and runs the Possibilities store.
